Attention all inventors in grades K-8! Entry forms are due back to your school office to secure a spot in this year’s Invention Convention by 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23. To sign up for this event, please contact your school secretary. There will be a rules sheet in both English and Spanish, an entry form, and a tips sheet available in the school office.
The local Invention Convention will be held Tuesday, January 30 at Liberty Elementary from 5:30-8 p.m. The snow date for this event will be Thursday, February 1. All Ottumwa Community School District students in grades K-8 are invited to participate. Those participating must create a simple, working invention and tri-fold poster, along with students in grades 3-8 will be required to create an inventor’s log documenting their work.
