Evans Middle School will host a Sixth Grade Orientation for parents and students on Monday, August 20 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Parents and their sixth grade child are invited for lunch and the opportunity to go through the student’s 2018-19 class schedule, meet their teachers, and check out their locker before the first day of school. Evans’ staff will also share valuable information about school expectations, as well as what Evans will be like for your child.
If parents are unable to attend, your child is still welcome. Transportation is also being offered for students. A school bus will be available at each elementary school (Liberty, Horace Mann, Eisenhower, Wilson and James) at 10:40 am. Students will be dropped-off at the same elementary at approximately 2:20 pm.
Evans Middle School Bulldog Bash will be held later on Monday, from 5-6:30 p.m. This will be a meet and greet format and is another opportunity for parents and students to check out Evans!
