The recent blood drive sponsored by the Sales class at OHS resulted in 114 total donations with 75 first time donors.
“We come up just short of our goal, but we did have a great number of first time donors,” said Kevin Cochran, who teaches the Sales class. Their goal had been to collect 130 units of blood.
“The best story of the entire drive is definitely OHS senior, Austin Brown,” said Cochran. "He donated for the first time, giving back to what helped save his life during his car accident. The true meaning and purpose for blood donations!”
The students will host a second drive in April.
