Ottumwa archers recently competed at the 2019 Iowa State NASP Bullseye and 3D Tournaments in Des Moines. The Ottumwa High School Archery team finished in 5th place in the 3D and 22nd in the Bullseye Tournament. The team qualified for National Competition in May in Louisville, KY. Many will also compete in the 2019 NASP Midwest 3D and Bullseye Shootouts on April 27 in Cedar Rapids.
The Evans Middle School Archery team finished in 3rd place in the 3D and finished 26th in Bullseye. The team qualified for National Competition and many archers will also compete in the 2019 NASP Midwest 3D and Bullseye Shootouts.
Several individual archers also earned awards and will be competing at the next level. OHS archer Jeff Shauman finished 3rd place in 3-D and 8th place in Bullseye competition as an individual. He has advanced to NASP National Competition in May.
Evans archers Ty Tucker and Alondra Huisinga both finished 6th place in their respective classes in the 3-D NASP State Tournament. Both will compete in Best of the Midwest 3-D and Bullseye competition in April. Tucker will also compete at NASP Nationals in May.
Liberty archer, Brynn Small, finished in 10th place in the 2019 3-D Iowa NASP State Tournament. She will compete in the Best of the Midwest Tournament in April and NASP National 3-D competition in May.
