We are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 at Commencement on Sunday, May 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Schafer Stadium.

We are cautiously monitoring the weather forecast. If we must change locations due to inclement weather, commencement will be held at the Ottumwa High School Gymnasium.

In the event that weather conditions require a change in venue, families and graduates will be notified as soon as possible. All other event details will remain the same, and there will be no ticketing restrictions for the 2:00 PM event. Both venues are large enough that we will not be limiting the number of attendees. No tickets will be required.

We appreciate your flexibility and support as we work to provide a safe and memorable celebration for our graduates and their families. We look forward to celebrating with you!

11:30 a.m. Parking lots at Schafer open, Handicapped parking is available in the Center Street parking lot, with handicap seating through the visitor entrance. A continuous shuttle service will run before and after the ceremony to and from the 4th Street side of Ottumwa High School, Dan Staggs Tennis Courts, and Schafer Stadium.

12:30 p.m. Stadium opens to guests; seating is first-come, first-served. There are no tickets or a limit on guests.

2:00 p.m. Graduation ceremony begins.
